Graduating From High School

This may be a little late since I graduated in May, but I'm still going to write about it so enjoy!

Graduating from high school may not be much of an adventure to most, but for me it was! I can say my years in high school were somewhat memorable. I wrote this on my bucket list because I come from a family where my parents didn't even make it past high school and I wanted to go further in my education than my parents. Like most, high school is where I meet my best friends! Lucky for me, I also met my high school sweetheart, Gilbert. I created so many memories in my senior year that I wished I could have made them sooner. But within those memories, I have been able to cross out so much more off my bucket list this year! I guess you'll just have to wait for upcoming blogs for those (: Okay back to the topic, if you are still in high school, my advice is to have SCHOOL SPIRIT. Go to as many school dances as you can, I sure wished I had. I didn't go to a single homecoming dance at either school I went to. In my 4 years in high school, I only went to 2 football games and 1 basketball game... that's sad. However, I was on the Varsity soccer team at both schools I went to, excluding my senior year due to some rules with CIF. Because of that, I decided to join Track & Field my senior year even though I was not the fastest! I also suggest joining a sport or a club, something you are passionate about! Just be a well-rounded student, I tried my best to be. I don't have much to say about freshman and sophomore other than they were learning and building years. Junior was pretty much a blur because I had switched schools that school year. But I do have to say, I met some incredible people with beautiful personalities! And lastly, senior year. I will forever remember my senior year because I decided to torture myself with a bunch of AP classes and cram every fun activity possible. But in the end, it was worth it because everyone was proud of me, including friends, family, and teachers. I'm the first in my family to graduate from high school and continue my education at a 4-year university which a huge achievement for me and my bucket list! I graduated with my wonderful friends!!
🥂Heres to the CLASS OF 2018!!🥂
